The Thrive Entrepreneurship Through Acquisition Fund bridges this gap with the tools, expertise, and capital women need to succeed in search, buyouts or self-funded acquisitions.

How the fund works
This first-of-its-kind national initiative is investing $50 million through a unique equity structure designed to help women acquire mid-sized Canadian businesses ready for new ownership.
- Direct investments: $40 million dedicated to women acquiring established businesses, through search funds, management buyouts, or self-funded searches
- Indirect investments: $10 million allocated to private equity and search fund investors that back women-led business acquisitions, strengthening the broader ecosystem
