Jean-Philippe is Senior Vice President, British Columbia and North, and Client Diversity. He has been overseeing BDC’s financing and consulting services in those markets since 2020 and now also manages the Bank’s client diversity strategy, working to better meet the needs of Canada’s diverse entrepreneurs.
Jean-Philippe has more than 20 years of experience in financing. He started his career at BDC in 1998 as an Account Manager and has since held positions of increasing responsibility in the organization. Most recently he was Vice President, North Shore, Quebec, leading a team of professionals in supporting thousands of small and mid-sized enterprise clients in and around Montreal.
Jean-Philippe is actively involved in the community, including work to ensure successful careers for women in business development, among other initiatives. He also sits on the Diversity and Inclusion Leadership Council of the Greater Vancouver Board of Trade and previously served on the board of directors of Collège Durocher Saint-Lambert.
Jean-Philippe holds a Bachelor of Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
