Jean-Philippe Ménard was appointed Senior Vice President, British Columbia, North and Indigenous in June 2020, and is responsible for BDC’s financing and consulting services in those markets.
Jean-Philippe has more than 20 years of experience in financing. He started his career at BDC in 1998 as an Account Manager and has since held positions of increasing responsibility in the organization. Most recently he was Vice President, North Shore, Quebec, leading a team of professionals in supporting thousands of small and mid-sized enterprise clients in and around Montreal.
Actively involved in the community, Jean-Philippe has been able to develop efficient and diverse teams to, among other things, ensure successful careers for women in the business development function. He also sits on the board of directors of the Collège Durocher Saint-Lambert.
Jean-Philippe holds a BA in Finance from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University.
