Tawnya Pelletier is Director, Syndicated Financing in Toronto. In this role, she is responsible for identifying, developing and recommending participations in high quality syndicated financing transactions including cash flow and asset-based lending, P3 (public-private partnerships) infrastructure and project financing.
Tawnya has more than 23 years of experience in commercial banking including positions in credit underwriting, credit origination and credit management both in Vancouver and Toronto. She has diverse lending experience having served clients in such industries as pharmaceuticals, technology, food and beverage, manufacturing and distribution, long-term care, retirement home and real estate development and P3 infrastructure finance.
Prior to joining BDC in 2014, she was Associate Vice President, Commercial National Accounts with TD in the Toronto office. Responsible for a seven-person team, she performed credit management duties including credit adjudication within delegated limits, loan documentation, authorization of loan fundings, and portfolio credit monitoring and control functions.
Tawnya holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of British Columbia and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), with Distinction, from the University of New Brunswick.
