Venture Capital Action Plan (VCAP)
Part of an effort to attract private-sector capital and bolster Canada’s venture capital sector financial sustainability, VCAP has invested $390M to catalyze $1.4B in public and private capital for the funds-of-funds selected under this program and help bring to scale four existing high performing funds.
Venture Capital Catalyst Initiative (VCCI)
Following the VCAP program, VCCI invested $371M through four private-sector-led funds-of-funds, five funds under the underserved groups and alternative investment models, as well as three funds under the cleantech stream, catalyzing over $1.8B in total capital.
Renewed Venture Capital Catalyst Initiative (Renewed VCCI)
The $450M Renewed VCCI has dedicated funding streams to support fund-of-funds, life sciences and inclusive growth. The program has continued to attract private sector capital into the Canadian venture capital asset class.
