Global supply chain
A global supply chain is the worldwide network of suppliers, manufacturers, warehouses and distributors involved in producing and delivering a product to customers across multiple countries.
A global supply chain covers all the steps involved in manufacturing and delivering a product or service when those steps take place in more than one country. For example, if a company sources raw materials in China, manufactures the product in India and sells it to customers in North America, its supply chain is global.
