Venture Capital Action Plan (VCAP)

VCAP is one of the tools created by the Government of Canada to attract private-sector capital and bolster the country’s venture capital sector sustainability. We have contributed expertise and advice to VCAP and invested $390 million into four new Canadian funds of funds and four existing venture funds.

Overall, VCAP has raised more than $1.4 billion, including more than $1 billion from diverse investors such as pension funds, high-net-worth individuals, corporations, banks and the governments of Ontario and Quebec.
