Bill Currie joined the BDC Board of Directors in January 2021.

Mr. Currie has had a long and successful career at Deloitte Canada, where he acted as Vice-Chair, Americas Managing Director, and Global Managing Partner, Operations Consulting until his recent retirement. Among other things, he was responsible for Deloitte’s global management consulting business, cross-border teaming, and business integration.

Mr. Currie presently sits on the board of directors of Communitech, a BDC partner that helps tech-driven companies to start, grow and succeed. He is also a Senior Advisor to the CEO of the Vector Institute, a not-for-profit corporation dedicated to research in the field of artificial intelligence and machine and deep learning.

Mr. Currie holds an MBA from the Ivey School of Business.
