What we don’t do
Every dollar in our portfolio is used to support Canadian entrepreneurs. Here’s a list of what BDC doesn’t provide:
- Grants
- Lines of credit
- Personal loans
- Bank accounts, credit cards, term deposits, guaranteed investment certificates
- Loans for the following ineligible activities:
- Businesses that are sexually exploitive or inconsistent with generally accepted community standards of conduct and propriety, including those that feature sexually explicit entertainment, products or services.
- Businesses trading in countries that are proscribed by the federal government.
