Over the last 30 years, PhysioOutaouais has opened more than 10 clinics in the Outaouais region. Each one was jointly owned with physiotherapist shareholders. Over time, the 16 shareholders were managing 10 clinics operating independently, and they were at times competing to attract talent in a market facing a significant labour shortage. So, they decided to merge the clinics under the same banner—a huge challenge in terms of organizational structure, governance, culture and aligned vision.
