The company, specialized in formwork and concrete structures, was experiencing strong growth and had doubled its revenue over four years. Due to complex processes and sequencing, as well as a shortage of skilled labour, every hour had to be used efficiently. In addition, since formwork is one of the first trades in a construction project sequence, any delay creates a domino effect across the entire site. Labour, material and transportation expenses were increasing faster than bid prices, meaning that even minor estimation or planning errors could turn a project from profit to loss. The company was looking to equip itself with the best technology to improve planning, reduce unforeseen issues and protect its margins.
