Melanie Nadeau

Melanie Nadeau joined the BDC Board of Directors in January 2024.

Ms. Nadeau is the Chief Executive Officer of COVE, an industry-led commercialization centre and global maritime tech hub, where she oversees the strategic direction and overall operations.

She brings over 20 years of experience in business development initiatives that drive high-tech innovation and entrepreneurship. Ms. Nadeau has contributed her expertise to numerous organizations, including the International Energy Agency, the United Nations Environment Programme, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and the International Electrotechnical Commission.

Ms. Nadeau is a certified Board Candidate with ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She is also an accredited professional engineer, with a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
