World Trade Organization (WTO)
The World Trade Organization (WTO) is an international body dedicated to making trade flow smoothly, predictably and freely. The WTO sets standards and helps create the global rules of trade between countries, and provides a forum for governments to deal with trade disputes.
WTO members are countries, not companies. Canada, like many other members, has an ambassador to the WTO as well as a full delegation at WTO headquarters in Geneva.
