Sultan is Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Zensurance, a Toronto based insurance technology company that helps small and medium sized businesses (SMB) manage their risks. Zensurance is leading the technology revolution in the insurance industry, and demystifying insurance for SMBs. By using data and analytics to identify the most common risks, Zensurance is able to create curated insurance packages ideally suited for each industry. Small business owners no longer have to wade through endless forms and play phone-tag; they can learn about all their needs and purchase at their own convenience within minutes online.
Prior to Zensurance Sultan was head of Strategy at Kijiji where he worked closely with the General Manager and CFO on strategic planning and monetization opportunities.
Sultan earned his Bachelor of Computer Science and Master in IT from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in the United States. After spending five years at Cisco as a software engineer he earned his MBA from Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management.
In his free time, the little he has, he spends time watching his favourite sport of soccer and particularly Liverpool FC. He can often be seen at Scallywags, the office Liverpool FC fan bar in Toronto. He also enjoys photography and reading.
