Shashank is a global digital banker, marketer, technologist and serial entrepreneur. As the VP of Client Experience and Digital Platform at Zafin, he is presently helping create a managed service platform for digital client onboarding at financial institutions. In previous lives, he has been a journalist and started three companies, the largest of which grew to 180 people in five countries in the Asia Pacific region. He has held leadership roles in consulting (PricewaterhouseCoopers) and advertising (WPP, Dentsu, Publicis), and has advised Fortune 500 companies on all aspects of marketing from consumer insights to market-entry strategy to accountable media planning and return on investment. Most recently, as the global head of Digital Experience at Standard Chartered, he helped a retail bank shape its multinational digital agenda across 35 countries. He teaches in Executive MBA programs at the London Business School and INSEAD, is an avid ocean diver and photographer, and has occasionally been accused of poetry.
