Derek obtained his undergraduate degree from Bishop’s University in Quebec and a master’s degree in International Relations from Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland. He is a terrible poker player and an even worse golfer. He loves the great outdoors and spends his free time outside as much as possible with his wife and two boys.
