Charles-Anthony is an Analyst with the Fund Investments team at BDC Capital. In this role, he provides ongoing support for the team's investment, portfolio management and operations tasks.
Charles-Anthony joined BDC in 2022 with the desire to make a positive impact on the Canadian innovation ecosystem.
Before joining BDC, he spent more than two years at Raymond Chabot Grant Thornton (RCGT), most recently as a Senior Mergers and Acquisitions Analyst. In this previous role, he performed front-office advisory work and managed Analysts on Midcap sell-side mandates in a wide variety of sectors (e.g., Advanced Materials and Manufacturing, IoT, Data Analytics, Food Tech).
Prior to that, he was an Analyst with the Valuation and Business Modeling group at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Paris, where he worked on value assessment and advisory missions with other PwC France service lines and PwC network offices abroad.
Charles-Anthony holds a Master of Science with Merit in Corporate Finance from Bayes Business School in London (formerly Sir John Cass Business School), as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in finance from HEC Montréal.
During his postgraduate studies, Charles-Anthony has been actively involved in several investment societies and entrepreneurship initiatives, including serving as a Senior Analyst with the prestigious Bayes M&A and Private Equity Society and cofounding a technology company focused on the design of high-efficiency solar power generators. A multilingual member of the BDC team, he is fluent in French, English and Creole.
