International business

An international business is one that sells products or services in other countries but operates facilities (like factories or distribution centres) only in its home country. Although the company sells worldwide, its primary focus is the domestic market. This is different from a global business, which has facilities in many countries around the world.

This term may also be used to describe a company that imports products to sell domestically.
