Kaizen
The Japanese word “kaizen” means “continuous improvement” and refers to a structured process for improving products, services and systems on a continuing basis.
Kaizen touches every step of the production process and covers equipment, methods, materials and people. It is an organization-wide approach that involves every person in a company, from the owners and managers to employees and contractors. One of the fundamental ideas of kaizen is that even a small change in a single area can have a large, lasting impact on operational efficiency or customer satisfaction.
