A monthly forum for entrepreneurs to network, share experiences, compare strategies and learn best practices for resolving common challenges.
When it comes to running your business, it’s good to know that you’re not alone. In fact, sharing experiences with like-minded peers, building a network of business advisors and being able to seek advice from entrepreneurs who face common hurdles can be enriching and highly beneficial. That’s the thinking behind BDC’s Presidents’ Roundtable.
Tailored for business owners, the Presidents’ Roundtable offers a flexible and innovative format, plus an excellent opportunity for busy entrepreneurs to get together in a private and confidential setting to discuss critical issues impacting their business.
Learn from others. Increase your chances of sustained success.
Am I managing my cash flow effectively? How can I drive new revenues? What marketing strategy will win me new business? How can I increase employee loyalty in my company?
All business owners grapple with these issues at some stage of their growth and find creative solutions. For many entrepreneurs, hearing the words, “I’ve been there!” is both reassuring and inspiring. The Presidents’ Roundtable is your chance to tap into the knowledge of experts and peers and collectively find ways to improve your company’s performance.
Here’s how it works
Experienced BDC management consultants and guest experts present key topics chosen by the group such as:
- Strategies for growth coming out of the recession
- Managing your working capital and cash flow
- Optimizing your human resources to improve productivity and accountability
- Sales and marketing strategies to keep business in the pipeline
Following the presentations, you take part in group discussions with the goal of sharing ideas and best practices with other business owners. Case studies, homework and multimedia presentations keep the sessions interactive and stimulating.
A unique format, including one-on-one coaching
Our round table format is unique because it combines group discussion with one-on-one coaching focused on your business reality. Typically, you get:
- 15 hours of group interaction in 5 monthly working sessions of 3 hours each.
- A 5-hour long, one-on-one coaching session per company focused on specifics of your business' health with a consultant of your choice.
