The fight against cancer is the cause of choice of BDC employees. BDC proudly supports its employee cause through a Canada-wide program of corporate donations and fundraising activities – called Together for the cause – to benefit the Canadian Cancer Society (CCS).

Daffodil Month

In the context of Together for the cause program, BDC is a proud national partner of 2013 Daffodil Month. Throughout Canada, BDC employees purchased and proudly wore their daffodil pin, and many special activities – including BDC’s Daffodil Day – helped raise even more funds for the cause.

Canadian Cancer Society’s Relay for Life

BDC is a proud member of the CCS National Caring Companies Program. Throughout Canada, over ten local teams will participate in the Relay for Life in their communities in 2013. They have already raised more than $10,000.

In 2012, BDC and its employees contributed over $73,000 to the CCS. Working together for the cause, BDC employees will undoubtedly continue to show their great generosity in 2013.
